Now, you may be wondering why we love this affogato so much. After all, this is a classic dessert that really isn’t that exciting. Typically, it is made up of two ingredients: Vanilla ice cream and a shot of espresso.

Sometimes, it is the simplest recipes that have the most potential, and that is what we love about this dessert: The potential.

Because this little chilled treat is so basic in nature, it leaves plenty of room for you to experiment and let your imagination run wild.

Below you will find a recipe for an Easy Hazelnut Cold Brew Affogato using the Crazy Cups Hazelnut Ground Coffee. This is a good combination, to begin with.

This beverage can also be made with any flavor or method of coffee your heart desires. This includes using the iced coffee method or cold brew method to make your brew. Serve your affogato up with caffeinated or decaf coffee, depending on your mood.

Follow this simple recipe below, using your favorite coffee and ice cream combination. Perhaps try a Frosted Oatmeal Cookie Coffee over Rocky Road ice cream with Oreos on top. Or, try Maple French Toast Coffee poured over Strawberry ice cream and topped with real strawberries.

Easy Cold Brew Affogato

Ingredients:

• Hazelnut Cold Brew
• 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
• 2 tbsp whipping cream
• Colorful Sprinkles
• Ice

Instructions:

If you have not already done so, begin making your hazelnut cold brew coffee using Crazy Cups Hazelnut Ground Coffee the night before so you have a fresh supply to make your Hazelnut Affogato.

Fill your glass halfway with ice and pour in your cold brew until the glass is ¾ full. Add in your whipping cream and top with vanilla ice cream.

Add sprinkles and enjoy!
