Cinnamon Spice and Everything Nice – In a Cup of Joe!
When you think of cinnamon, you typically think of a sweet baked dessert. Like sweet cinnamon rolls on a Saturday morning, or a hot churro from the summer fair. It is one of those flavors that immediately takes you back.
Just a dash of spice makes everything nice, and that includes coffee!
If you ask someone to describe the taste of cinnamon, you may get varying answers. Some will tell you it is intensely sweet, while others may describe its a slightly spicy flavor. Pair it with something sweet, and it can intensify those flavors, but on its own, it is a warm spice that is also used to complement savory dishes around the world.
What do we think about all this? Although the flavor is great as a spice, we think it also tastes great as a coffee flavor!
We like to experiment and go crazy with our flavors, but that doesn’t mean we can’t return to the classics for inspiration. Cinnamon is a traditional spice that inspires us to create new flavors and takes more risks. And, no matter how crazy we get, we are still reminded of home when we take a sip and get hit with a hint of cinnamon.
Or, even better, pour one of our cinnamon flavored coffees over ice for a sweet cold dessert in a cup.
Here at Crazy Cups, we love the way cinnamon fills the room once we put our best cinnamon-flavored coffee k-cup compatible pods in our Keurig. As it brews, releasing a sweet, yet warm aroma, we can’t help but anticipate what is to come. Just a minute of brewing, and we will have a fresh, hot cup of cinnamon in our hands.
Our cinnamon coffee tastes so great that we find no creamer is necessary. However, if you choose to use one, our cinnamon coffee pairs well with creamers that are dairy, almond, coconut, and soy.
Grab a cinnamon flavored coffee (or a few!) and let yourself indulge in a cup of sweet spice.
