Ingredients:
- 1 Crazy Cups Chocolate Raspberry Truffle coffee pod (or 2 tbsp ground coffee, brewed)
- 6 oz hot water (for brewing coffee)
- ½ cup milk (or unsweetened almond/oat milk for dairy-free)
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp raspberry preserves (or 1 tsp raspberry extract for a low-sugar version)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1-2 tsp sweetener of choice (sugar, honey, or monk fruit for low-sugar)
For the Chocolate Rim:
- 1 tbsp melted dark chocolate (or sugar-free dark chocolate for low-sugar)
- Crushed freeze-dried raspberries (for garnish, optional)
Optional Toppings:
- Whipped cream (or coconut whipped cream for dairy-free)
- Fresh raspberries
- Shaved dark chocolate
Instructions
- Brew the coffee:
- Use a Crazy Cups Chocolate Raspberry Truffle pod and brew 6 oz hot coffee. If using ground coffee, brew 2 tbsp with 6 oz water.
- Prepare the chocolate rim:
- Melt 1 tbsp dark chocolate in the microwave (15-20 sec).
- Dip the rim of your mug into the melted chocolate, then roll in crushed freeze-dried raspberries (optional). Let it set while making the mocha.
- Make the raspberry-infused milk:
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk together milk, cocoa powder, raspberry preserves (or extract), vanilla, and sweetener.
- Heat until steamy but not boiling, whisking frequently.
- Combine and serve:
- Pour the hot brewed coffee into your prepared mug.
- Strain the raspberry-infused milk (if using preserves) and pour it into the coffee. Stir well.
