Is there anything more delightful than the holidays in a cup? We’ve taken the classic Italian affogato and given it a whimsical, frosty makeover with Crazy Cups Santa's Sugar Cookie Flavored Coffee. Featuring a sweet and creamy snowman floating in a rich brew of flavorful coffee, this dessert is as delicious as it is fun to make. Whether you're hosting a holiday gathering or treating yourself after shoveling snow, this recipe guarantees cozy vibes with every sip.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Crazy Cups Santa's Sugar Cookie Flavored Coffee Pod or Decaf Santa's Sugar Cookie Flavored Coffee Pod 
  • 6 oz hot water
  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream (or dairy-free alternative like coconut ice cream)
  • 1 mini marshmallow (for the snowman’s head)
  • 1 pretzel stick (broken into arms)
  • 2 mini chocolate chips (for eyes)
  • 1 orange sprinkle or small piece of orange candy (for the nose)
  • Optional: Whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Brew the Coffee:

    • Brew 6 oz of Crazy Cups Santa's Sugar Cookie Flavored Coffee.  Let it cool slightly.
  2. Assemble the Snowman:

    • Scoop two small rounds of vanilla ice cream onto a plate or into your mug to form the snowman’s body.
    • Place the mini marshmallow on top for the head.
    • Use mini chocolate chips for the eyes and insert the orange sprinkle for the nose.
    • Break the pretzel stick into two and gently press into the sides of the bottom scoop to create arms.
  3. Create the Affogato:

    • Place your snowman into a serving mug.
    • Slowly pour the warm coffee over the snowman, letting the ice cream melt into the spiced brew.
  4. Optional Garnish:

    • Add a swirl of whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg on top for extra holiday flair.
